One year after suffering a devastating loss that nearly crippled the Oswego business, Limeberry is celebrating its inspiring comeback with a special Holiday Pop-Up Shoppe on Nov. 22 from 6 to 9 p.m.
The event will feature an exclusive selection of custom gifts, including graphic tees, sweatshirts, permanent jewelry, and an ultimate stocking stuffer bar at 432 Treasure Dr., Oswego. We’ll have giveaways, prizes and exclusive discounts as a thank you to the community and our incredible customers for their unwavering support this past year.
The Limeberry team has been working to rebuild the business from the ground up since one year ago when the company’s primary online retailer declared bankruptcy, leaving the company with a staggering $150,000 in unpaid revenue for products already sold.
“It was a moment of complete shock when I first learned what had happened,” said Limeberry Owner Dana Hicks, reflecting on that day one year ago. “Instead of gearing up for the biggest sales weekend of the year, we had to make the painful decision to halt production, send employees home, and completely rethink our business strategy.”
The past year has been the most challenging in Limeberry’s 11-year history. Hicks, with the support of her dedicated team, family, friends, and loyal customers, has worked tirelessly to rebuild the popular graphic apparel brand. This has included revamping Limeberry website, expanding the brand’s social media presence, mastering digital advertising, and streamlining production to ensure the brand's resilience and continued growth.
“I couldn’t have done it without the unwavering support of my team, family, friends, and our amazing customers,” Hicks shared. “We are looking toward a future that is stronger, bolder, and brighter than before, and I’m so excited to share this new chapter with everyone.”
